Pete Seeger, who has died aged 94. In the top picture, taken in 1944, he’s playing the banjo with Arthur Smith on fiddle and Sonny Terry (with back to the camera) on harmonica. The second picture, taken in 1964, was taken in a BBC TV studio.
Be wary of great leaders. Hope that there are many, many small leaders.
The late PETE SEEGER, during an interview with the Associated Press following an Occupy Wall Street march in 2011; the music great and activist died Monday at the age of 94.
